Default Smoker build project

I aquired a large well water pressure tank the size I really been wanting to build a smoker/grill out of.

Cutting legs for the stand

Legs cut out ready to go on the tank. This is after cutting the bottom off and removing the rubber air bladder. Tank was clean inside, just a little rust.

Squared up and welded with 1.25" flat bar

Had these nice heavy duty casters laying around:

Legs on, firwood rack started:

Firewood rack done, wheels welded on:

Rack/ stand completed:

End cap on:

Started mocking up for the grill rack:

Started cutting out 1/4" plate for the firbox:

More to come!!

It is "How To" make a smoker.

Looks like it works according to your smoked turkey thread.

Here is my fav fish brine recipe soak for 24 Hrs pat dry let sit for and Hr then into the smoker. We did some full lenght elk ribs the other day kind of looked like Fred Flinston and friends around the fire pit eating them.
2 L-water
1 Cup-pickling salt
1 Cup-brown suger
1/2 Cup-soy sauce
1 Tbs-liquid smoke
1 Tbs-onion powder
1 Tbs-garlic powder
1 Tbs-celery salt
1 Tbs-cracked black pepper
1 Tbs-tabasco sauce

This works great on most fish ( Perfect for Salmon ) I have tried it on and enjoy.
