Default Boat Cover

Need a cover for my V20. I have the pool cover which is ok.I really wanted a nice one,did a bunch of homework on custom, semi custom on the web.Ordered one made by carver ,nice cover ,but just does not fit due to the round bow.Any one have any idea who make one that will fit. Thanks

Did you get a cover that fit your boat? I have the same problem.

Daniel

I got the one that was made for a wellcraft V20 semi custom by carver. It was a real nice cover very good quality. They told me it did not fit because of the round bow,so much for semi custon.I cant believe no one makes one that will fit.I found a couple that say custon for 700.00,chit I will build a roof on the lift before I will pat that kind of money.Guess its back to the pool cover or the blue tarp.

Walmart sells a grey tarp that is oblong and big enough to cover the boat. What I did was run a rope from the bow over the windshield to a scrub brush in a rod holder on the transom. This keeps it from sagging. Then I put on the tarp and ran a rope thru the tarp eyes nears the bow and pulled the rope and bunched up the tarp. This forms a pocket for the bow to fit in. You can leave that rope in the tarp eyes once you do it. From there I just bought a big jug of bungee cords to strap it down to the trailer. It work good, does not look to bad and keeps the rain, leaves and bird poop off. If you leave the "bow pocket" rope in you can put this on by yourself. It does handle high winds also. Best of all it cost around 40 bucks.
