Thumbs up Striper Nuggets and Deep Fried Pierogies

Striped Bass is great fried as nuggets! I use a 50-50 mix of Panko bread crumbs and Golden Dipped Fish Fry (or Cajun Fry). No egg, just wet with milk and shake in a tub of the mix. Let it sit for 2 minutes before frying. As a side to them I deep fry Mrs T's pierogies (do them first before the oil gets fishy). Wash down liberally with a fine American lager....

I like striper nuggets too. Instead of milk try some Frank's Redhot hot sauce. It isn't very hot, just adds a good flavor (not that striper needs any additional flavor).

All 3 food groups in that meal!

Last time I was down in NJ, that was my beer of choice. Fine brew.

Looks Great! When I catch some I fry em up too. I use House-Autry Medium Hot breader and a sprinkle of Old Bay. I have marinated fillets and grilled them. They're good any kinda way! MMMMMMMMMUUUMMMM!!

Peirogies are one of the three Polish food groups...Keilbasa(sausage), Halupki or Galumpki (stuffed cabbage), and Peirogie (a kind of dumpling or "ravioli"). They are a noodle dough stuffed with a filling, usually mashed potato.
The traditional way to eat them is to pan fry them with butter and onions. You can also boil them and serve with brown gravy. But by far the best way is DEEP FRIED and SALTED!!!!....WITH BEER!!! Look for them in the freezer section of the supermarket. I get "Mrs. T's" brand with potato & cheddar cheese stuffing. ENOY!!!

CFELTON - I double down on House Autry Hot and Regular. Fries up brown compared to plain corn meal, just add a touch of Everglades or some Old Bay and WOW! I am fish hungry now.. Might have to fry up some lobster tonight. Yes I will try to take a pic..
