I appreciate the honest responses given here by people experienced more than me. My feelings won't be hurt when the criticism is constructive. Negativity is something else.....
I'm a newbie to the V20, having bought the boat from a neighbor this spring with great expectations of using it (more). But now I need the money for a down-payment on a house. If $6,200 is too high -- and I think it is after looking at the other V20s for sale despite my V20 having a new powerhead and many new parts -- please make me an offer... might $4,500 be more reasonable? Let me know. Thanks! |

oh, i'm sorry you mistook honesty for negativity. would you have rather heard "oh, uummm..... gee, well...... y'know, eeerrrrr......"?
i'm not about that. you said you were motivated. i merely replied that i didnt find your price motivation. not an insult, just my opinion.

never any doubt where the tuna stands on things. Frankly, that is somewhat refreshing in this day and age.

The only thing we have to go on is what the asking prices have been for these boats over the last year or so. What people actually pay may be less. One big factor is your location as well. I dont think we have any members in Great Lakes area so it is possible in the Cleveland area a V-20 is harder to find than say where I am in NJ. Here in NJ V-20 's are listed for anywhere between $1500 and $6500 with your odd ball out there higher than that..The vast majority seem to be in the $3k to 5K range. With a real solid average around 4k. If you're in no hurry to sell it keep it up there a little bit and see what happens.
