Default 24 Wellcraft  Chopped & Dropped

I saw this model in a local parking lot for sale. I never have seen this one before. The hull # says it is a 78.

The asking price is $8500. I think that is a little overpriced.

It's an interesting looking design. The cabin looks way to little and low to be any good, and the seats look like the steering wheel would be between your knees.

Never seen that type of Wellcraft. I kinda like. Always did like a flybridge. ;D

Steering does look really low, but not in the picture SKOOL posted.

Your legs are recessed below the dash in the broshure.
So why hasnt SKOOL ever had one. I want one now. ;D

I guess the seat is the headroom in the cabin and your legs go where the cabin flattens out. The one I saw had pedestal seats and not bench seating. Skools picture of the cabin looks twice as big as the actual one. This must be the same Wellcraft copywriter that said you could sleep 2 in the V-20 cabin.

I've seen a couple of those, cool old boats. It would be a pain in the a$$ to dock or load on a trailer with any kind of current running though, sitting up that high.

Skipjacks are very popular boats out here on the West coast.Jack Cole wanted to expand his boat line to the east coast so Wellcraft produced them for a couple of years.Sitting up high has it's advantages for spotting kelp paddys.
