Default anchor roller installed

I was finally able to get the anchor roller installed, it is not quite finished but it will have to do for now because I need to get fishing. We just finally got the first cutting of hay in, so now I can get down to the bay.

Sweet looking... actually looks a lot like the one I have on my boat. Nice job!! Don't forget to put a Port and Starboard light on either side of the roller. Good luck on the fishing...

Man that looks GREAT, Chomper!!...Destroyer's right about the nav lights...specially if ya go out nights...and you'll need to secure that chain, too...easiest/cheapest way is w/a GOOD bungee cord pullin chain and anchor back to something... you might have to set up something to hook to...the expensive way is a chain tensioner...looks like you got a pin thru the cleat and that's good, but might rattle...don't know about you, but that'd drive me nuts...

Default chain storage

Hey that's really nice looking and of course functional, I was thinking of doing that but haven't figured out the best way to get the chain through the deck without using the little round fitting ( too much of a pain to feed the anchor rope through every time). I don't want to leave the rope in a round bin topside either. How did you do it ?

Thanks guys, I still have to come up with something different but until then the bungee will have to do along with the pin. Actually the chain is really tight it is a pivoting roller so it applies some tension to it. I just leave the rope topside it's not the best place but I lay the rest of the chain on it to stop the chain from rattling on the deck.

I did mount the nav lights but I put them farther back. I will try to get a pic later tonight. I really don't go out at night but I have them on there just in case.
