Default Hey reel

Remember the fuel vent varmit thread?
http://wellcraftv20.com/community/sh...highlight=vent

I think I have the same problem. The little strainer cap that goes on the outside to keep stuff out broke (not completely) about a year ago enought to possibly allow stuff in. I just had to replace my shift/throttle cables so went to test it out. The cables I installed work perfectly. On the other hand I've got a fuel delivery problem at high RPMS. I had my buddy drive and push it on up to where the problem happens. As long as I was squeezing the bulb - no problem. The minute I quit, bulb starts going soft and engine isn't getting enough fuel. Only happenening above 4500 RPMS. Just replaced the primer bulb yesterday so I ruled that out. Also ruled out an obstruction in the pickup within the tank by unhooking and blowing bubbles into tank. Just about has to be the vent. Gonna check out the tank vent this weekend. I see you were able to access it through the small round inspection hatch. Question - what kind of vent fitting did you use as a replacement?

Hey Dawg...you in LUCK!!....having just converted a double fuel tank set-up to a single, I got a SS fuel filler and SS 90* fuel vent fitting left over...no, they ain't free, but I'll make a helluva deal, just cause it's you...

Here's what I installed on the 21...

And here's the ones I didn't install just sittin around gatherin dust

The set...

Can't think of a place I'd rather them be than that Purdy Lil 21 of yours, so I'll make a special price on both iffn you want 'em...

They came from West and are now $30 for the filler and $23 for the vent...you can have 'em both for $25 plus shippin...if you just want the vent, it's yours for 10 bucks plus shippin...one thing to tell you...the vent head is just a lil too small for the hole in the hull after the original was removed..I found a rubber grommet(seen in the pic above) that worked perfectly...

If you don't want either, you still my favorite Dawg...

Wow Reel, thanks for that. My filler cap is the exact same as the one you posted. It is still in fine shape so I don't need that but thanks for offering.

You got me thinking hard about the vent tho. Mine is ok, its just that it is plastic, which sux. I think I'll take you up on the vent deal. I'll send ya a PM now.

THANKS!
