Question Glass Replacement

Well, one of my V20,s side glass (port side) got shattered by a rock thrown by the mower..

Anybody know where to get a new one or should I just have one cut at the local glass shop???

Thanks,

Thirdcoast

Every once in a while, you might find somebody who has one from a V that was parted out. There may be a few guys on the forum who have extra ones they'd be willing to part ways with.

Otherwise, I would just go down and have a piece made. It would probably be worth doing, since shipping will likely cost almost as much as the cost of having one cut (I would think...).

Having one made means Plexiglas as getting one made of safety glass will be $$$
What year is your boat?? They have changed some over the years. What side is it?? I have a side glass from my 1975 still in the frame, you might be able to just install frame and all or take the glass out, up to you?
Free + shipping

Don't go the Plexiglass route!! I found out the hard way what Plexiglass will do. When I bought my boat it had clear glass. My street has been undergoing major reconstruction and the dust is unbelievable. Well, I washed the boat after it had sat out there with this dust on it and everything got clean except the starboard window. The grit has scoured the plexiglass window and left it very hazy. I'm looking to replace mine sometime in the future, but must save $$$ for the motor first.
Oh and I forgot the other problem I have with the Plexiglass one. It fogs up very quickly and doesn't burn off the fog like the other two glass windows do. Just noticed it.

ok bottom is 54 inches
front to top 23 3/4 inches
44 inches from top front to rear bottom

This is frame and all, I guess the frame is 1" all the way around and make the glass 1" shorter.

Let me know
