Default who uses 30's when fishing

i was curious to see who uses some heavy gear on here and what do you prefer.
i am stuck between the okuma TG 30's, Tld 25's and the tyrnos 30's all single speeds.
anyone has any experience?

we use Penn 50's. The Shimanos are better, but they are much bigger

I'm partial to the TLD25's but it might be b/c its all I've used

I guess its one of those things where it ain't broke and I ain't plannin on fixin it!

I've used the ShimanoTLD 25, 30, and 50's; the Okuma 30's & 50's both silver and gold, and the Penn GLS45's. Never had a failure on any of them. The Penns are the oldest, the Shimano's have seen the most Tuna's. but we have an Okuma TG50W that's sole duty is the WWWWWFB line offshore...that reel has been absolutley abused, loaded w/ 80, and has never missed a beat on 100's of fish.

I think they all make good products nowdays and if you give them a little TLC, will take good care of you.

i try to maintain my reels and rods meticulously. i was just curious to see how the okuma's mostly hold up. for the price they seem like a great deal.
