That's why the windshield is loose. ;D
I had trouble years ago with a motor I bought that the water tube was clogged with sand. The mechanic I took it to had a hose rigged with clamps to the lower pickup tube and applied water for a while until it cleared itself. I don't think he gave it a lot of pressure, but he said that once a litlle bit of water trickled through, it really started clearing itself.
I don't know what else to suggest.
