new 60 hp is fuel injuected, 9.9 is carbed. I know the big motor is not sucking air thru carbed motor cause the bulb in that one stayed solid(full of fuel) but the bulb for the big motor never got completely full, hard.
When I was sitting at the launch I could not get fuel to either pumping it for a long time. It wasn't until I tried and started the motor with no prime (the 9.9) and I guess it sucked some vacum out that I was able to get anything into the bulb. It started with whatever fuel was in there and got itself going.
Did the same with the 60 but the bulb never got hard on that one.
