Just be sure to test drive a CS before you buy, unless it is slick calm they will beat the carp out of you.
On the other hand, I am finding that with my V, when I come up to a wave that I think I need to brace for, the impact is more like hitting a pillow than a rock.
It is hard to compare boats 10 years apart, but I swear the V rides as good, and maybe better than the 1989 Grady White 25 Sailfish that I used to own.
