Murrell's Inlet SC Fishing Report
Thursday 4/5
Water temp 62
Air temp - heck if I know but it was warm enough not to have the enclosure and to get sun burned on my neck *;D
Had one other person on board - first mate Cory.
Started out pulling minnows in the creek. *Tide was wrong for that so we anchored in the mouth of some intersecting creeks where I had caught flounder in the past - no luck. *Ended up fishing beside of the north jetty near the end. *Landed 2 nice black drum.

You'll never believe who I saw - Hammer in his Bayliner *;D

Me and the 1st black drum on fresh shrimp.

Cory and the 2nd drum:

A sea urchin that was on my anchor when I pulled it up. *I have a video of it too that I will post. *It was moving all around!

He's no "Blue" Runner. * Just a regular ol "Point" Runner - far inferior *::)

Pulling in to the dock
Friday 4/6
Water temp 56
Air temp - cold as a whiz - like 45 for the high and windy.
Had brother in law Robin and nephew Ross aboard along with 1st mate Cory.
Tried to anchor back on the jetty. *Got anchored good but current swept the lines away from the rocks. *No luck. *Tried trolling. *Wind was too strong. *Got skunked *:-/

Lil man got tired and had a nice place to relax:

Back at the room in the parking lot:
Saturday 4/7
Water temp 55
Air temp - cold as a whiz - like 42 for the high.
Went straight out to 3 mile reef. *Grabbed a couple of blues and micro seabass. *Came back in and anchored on the tip of the north jetty. *Landed 4 more blues but nothing else. *The birds were working over the blues. *Looked like the gulls were feeding on glass minnows.
We managed to get out pretty early. *7am pulling out of the ramp

The back seat ended up being a great tackle rigging station.

Later that evening a walk on the pier
