Yeah I set up a couple of tip-ups, I dislike pulling fish by hand and all the tangles that comes with it.
I came up with this set I nick name it Dead Sticks,
when ready it’ll work as a tip up. It’ll have a spring loaded flag and all the works. I’ll be able to see the flag in the distance and still enjoy the light rod and reel fish fight.
A good friend of mine introduced me to this winter sport, now I’m hooked…I’m fortunate enough to live at walking distance of a coupe of very productive reservoirs, also there’s many lakes within 30 minutes driving time.
