add to what reel said, it can be to much weight in the rear, to help some here have moved the batterys to the CC, also get some one way scuppers to stop the water coming in from there.

Transome cap, your going to have to let it dry out some, then I would (you have to remove the motor!) and use glass and resin to seal the transom, Stinky & Skools have both done this, fill with glass sand smmth and paitn to match boat or add Formula 27 to top coat the glass for a hard cover. No longer need the aluminum cap!! Reinstall motor and never worry again!!
