Well boys, I finally put my rebuilt boat and motor through the sea trials last weekend. It was flawless! It ran and performed like a brand new boat. I didnt have the first problem. I ran it about two hours, and the more I ran it the smoother the engine ran. The boat rides incredibley smooth. Ive got a hydrofoil fin on the alpha one outdrive, and it really has a good holeshot. I only ran it to 2800 rpms,cause I put everything new in the 170 merc. Gotta get it broke in before I open it up. Ill post some pics soon! Ive got off work wed and thursday,gonna try and take my wife out on it then. I know shes gonna love it too!
