When I ran mine before the transom went south, performance wasn't bad. I didn't my GPS with me, so my numbers are guestimates at best. I had a 15 pitch OMC stainless prop on it(severley worn out though) when I ran it. The boat stayed on step at 4200 and cruised smoothly and flat at what I would guess to be 22-25 MPH, and it topped out at 5300 RPM's and around 30 MPH.
As far as fuel consumption goes, DONT ASK! >:( It gulped fuel like a toilet for a V-4. I ran it right at 2 hours and burned almost 30 gallons :o. And it was to lean to boot at that, kept running warm with white plugs.
