Thanks MJ an Reel. That's why I'm hesitant to made many changes at this point without having prior knowledge of problems to come.
When daddy had the boat, instead of replacing the stuff and cleaning the tanks he just used a surface tank, so I'm sure he is unaware of the vent problem.
Once I get it useable I'm sure to made other changes.
Oh on ya'lls fuel gauge(s), did you have one or two? I was going to try this anyway, mine had one gauge and a three position switch. Basically, left tank, off, right tank.
