Sail, thanks for the revision ... that is what I thought it was gonna be. My numbers are about the same for 4000 rpm and 4600 rpm but I topped out at 40 mph at 5000 rpm.

It is interesting that you go to 5600 rpm or even to 6000rpm.

But what impresses me most is the fuel economy that you are going to see. I only hope you get to put in enough hours of enjoyment to fully realize this advantage.

I recommend you get a navman fuel flow meter. It will help you monitor your engine's operation for any unwanted changes, find the most economical trim, tilt and rpm settings, and constantly remind you of how smart you were to buy your 4-stroke. 8)
