Its the non slip MJ...worked great.
We got the bracket on this morning just ahead of the storms. *He took her home to hang the motor and get her tuned in.
I remeasured after it was all done and Im worried it IS too low. I used a long wallboard square to check the height of the rear of the bracket (where the motor mounts) and I came up with 22". :-/
That would put it just right for a 20" motor, NOT a 25".
He is going to take it and mount the outboard and slip it in the water to see how it looks and works.
I could have SWORN I measured it out right the day we done it. I remember checking my math several times. I went 25" and then add the "lip" on the bracket for 27", not 22".
All we can do at this point is try it, but I sure hope I dont end up having to move that bracket. *:o
