Default Re: Pretty boat

Thanks Air, I love you guys man :'(

You are correct, I am going thru a major decision making process now.
I found the salt (and some fresh water) boat I think I would prefer.
On the other hand I have also got a good price on a well equipped 18ft G3 aluminum all outfitted and 1 year old with 35 hours on a 2006 Yammi 90 2stroke. A $600 trolling motor set up, two expensive fishfinders and a load of other equipment. It belongs to a local dealer who is a friend of mine and it will mount my 9.9 on it for free.
Though it is G3's salt water boat too that would not be my main use other than some back bay, shallow water and river stuff. $8,800 and no tax ::)
That is where I'm at now. The salt is an hour to an hour and a half from me and I am lucky to get there once a week. On the other hand I got three huge fresh water impoundments within 10-20 minutes from me and the delaware river 30 minutes. The river and the bays I can use the big motor along with Lake Hopatcong in the north about an hour. The rest are all 9.9 and electric only.
I am being honest with you guys I am not sure and really torn on it. I love the salt but hard to get to, plus for me to launch and retrieve often by myself it is tough.
I used to go out with my tin boat and fish a few times a week and I could launch and everything by myself even after a long day and with one hand tied behind my back.
I got to make a decision in the next couple of days and I still can't decide :-/
