Whopper, Sorry to hear that. My lil'Bonito with a 115 Rude sunk twice. Both times I raised and got it running within an hour. Book sez ya have two hours to get it goin'.

This is what ya need. Tools, Two fully charged batteries. another starter in case the ol'one won't crank. A new set of plugs. Fire extinguster ( just in case ) Can of fresh fuel and extra can of gas. About a gallon of alcohol. Lots of WD-40. A can of quick start. Have these ready to go before you raise the motor.

*The minute you get it out pull the plugs, hose the whole motor off with fresh water and then WD-40, tape off the plug wires real good so no arcs occur. drain the carbs, hook up the new batt. Hook up fresh water flush ears on water intake. Crank it over and spray alcohol thru the carb bores...let it cycle thru the clylinders. Then spray the WD-40 the same way for a few minutes. Replace the plugs and hook the wires back up. hook up fresh fuel mix and try and start it. Use the Quick start if need be. repeat till it starts. When it does start let it run for about 30 minutes. Once you have it running you're almost home. If you have to replace the starter.

I went thru this process twice, two years apart. My 115 ran for another 8 years w/o problems.

If you can't get it to run within a couple hours flush it out with water and oil and seal the carb bores to keep air out until you can get to a mech...OR.. If you hava 55gal drum set in in upside down and fill with water.

Good luck. I know the first time mine sunk at the dock I about cried and with much trepidation went thru the instructions in a Clymers book to get it running. The second time wasn't near as stressful. The starter may be toast but if ya get the salt outta the crank and jugs it should be repairable if you can't start it right away.
Warning...if you let it sit..it will freeze up and need a total rebuild and might as well buy a new one.

Added not; Mine did catch fire for a minute the first time due to a plug wire arc... Be careful.
