				 Re: Seafoam?

Seafoam has been around forever and I think its the best of its kind including stabil . It's the real deal as opposed to others that are just stabilizers. I run a weak mixture every other fill up in the boats which I try to keep topped off and keep some in my mower cans as the condensation here on the carolina coast is a killer for water in the fuel etc. If you know anyone in the construction or heavy equipment business you can get it cheaper like $5 a can or so as they buy it by the case lot.I've never been a fan of liquid rings or mechanic in a bottle crap that you see advertised but Seafoam works. I bought a little 72 johnson 6hp twin at a garage sale that had been sitting for at least 10 years because no one could get it started and the gas had turned to a smelly orange crap..I drained and cleaned the tank, blew out the lines, put new plugs in it and mixed up a hefty portion of sea foam with about 16 ounces of gas. After cleaning the jets and giving it an ether hit now and then she took off like a new motor and after some black smoke and coughing it smoothed out and now starts on the second pull without fail..Techron is also good but wont do it all like Seafoam will but I like to buy chevron gas as it has Techron mixed in it ....Frank
