Hi Skools,

Hey buddy, thanks for thinking 'bout me.

I was out camping a couple weeks back, then had an out of state road trip and quite a bit of other things to tend to, so I haven't had time to stay on top of the forum.

I got your package and I finally had some time to do some boat work. So, I went out to install the steering yesterday and came to find that the steering cable I ordered is about 8 inches too short! Man, I'm so bummed! I was quite certain that I had measured the way the instructions prescribed. I don't know what happened. I I've tried re-routing the cable higher and lower, but still too short and in the process I've scuffed up the outside of the cable to the point that I'm not sure the BoatStore will exchange it for a longer one. Those cables are like $100!!! I need to take the cable out tomorrow and measure the cable to double check and see if they sent me the right length.

So, I decided to redirect my attention to the controller today and after I got everything all hooked up I came to find that the shifter cable is frozen and will need to be replaced. Man, when it rains it pours...

Thank you for all the great work you did. Everything looks absolutely great and I'm again very thankful to you for the steering arm as well. Hopefully, I'll be able to get these things taken care of before the first snow, but I'm not sure that will happen.
