A f ew more pertinent facts:

My V20 was operated in the ocean (in/around Scituate, MA) for the first 12 years of its career. It then sat on blocks in a backyard for a couple years. I then inherited it, and it has been used, at most, twice a year since then. I do not believe the risers have ever been replaced on the engine. The stern drive 1K plus later, should be in great condition. Because the V20 sat in the ocean for 6 months of the year, it has bottom paint. I re-painted the bottom this year, but, have not put it in the water AT ALL in 2006.

I want to keep the V20; however, something tells me that whatever I am able to get from sale of the Formula might not be enough to get the V20 into the kind of operating condition/appearance I want. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated.
