I leave my batterys in all winter not a problem. As for foging the motor, you don't have to get it started to fog, It is best you do, but if all else fails take the plugs out put some Mystery oil in therre and turn the motor over with a wrench on the fly wheel.
This will keep things from rusting up over the winter.

Now that your back and got the motor and bracket done were are the pictures?? ;D
