Out of the Army and finally made it on the list to the PD in the town I grew up in, got hired and went to the academy which was attached to the County College. Lot of women, lot of women, my sister went to school there and she was friendly with this gorgeous Italian girl also going to school there. But I kept chasing after those lucious loose ladies that I so enjoyed in the past and meanwhile became good friends with my sisters friend. She was casually going out with another student. So we would talk all the time. A large group of us were meeting up at a local club and I was hot and snorting after this super model type with two brain cells in her head trying to find each other, I took the super model out to the club, but unbeknownst to me if she had two drinks she got sick and was trashed for the night. My future wife/friend went in to the ladies room to check on her and made arrangements with one of her friends to take her home because she was not doing well. Best laid plans :-/
Next day at the college I am getting ready to go home and the gorgeous Italian girl locks her keys in her car and her and my sister ask me to help. So I walk her out to the car, a long way by the way, and after playing around finally get her into the car, as I pop open the door Foxy finds her keys magically in her purse. We end up making a date for that night and 26 years and four kids later we still make magic, and she still finds a way to get her way (when I let her).
Turns out my Mom and my sister knew she would be the one if they could arrange a get together, and the key, my sister plying my super model date with Tee many Martunies at the club behind my back were all part of a conspiracy too slow me down and put me on the right track in life.
Sometimes in life others do know whats best, I wouldn't be what and who I am today without her, and out kids are to die for. And I probably will but it will be worth it ;)
