Default Re: Transom replacement

Well now that I have done the bracket thing, I tell all to do it!
I have always had a full transon so I can't really get into the good and bad. My boat was a I/O and I converted to the bracket and outboard. I feel that in my case that the boat rides and handles better then before.
I belive that there is much more room in the bracket boats. All your stuff is out the back, no cables wires or any of that getting in your way. You will get rid of the splach well allowing you to stand right up against the back of the boat to fish.
Let us no what you decide and how it works out for you!!

And welcome to the site!!
