Well most tires are around 32 psi, but they will say right on the side of the tire what it should be.

As for the slow leak, Slime and stuff is ok for a small nail hole or something, But alot of times the rims get rusted around the sides and they start o leak there.
I would have them dismounted and wire brush the wheels and inspect for damage to the tire and wheel, replace whats needed.

Better now then on the road in 100* weather!! It will ruin your day fast!
