Hi Chris,
My name is Rico, located Tacoma (Seattle) WA.
A coincidence you described the boat you had, because that is now I believe what I am looking for.
V20, full transom, Armstrong bracket, 200 HPDI. I never considered more than 200, and even had decided on 150, but why not go for 50 kts, or 60! Didn't know possible. Maybe this is my new goal. I have a 60' boat that goes 11 knots (
www.evening-star-expeditions.com), which is use as my mothership up in British Columbia, near Campbell River. If this boat has the ride, then I really can cover the ground to get to the salmon fishing spots. Nootka Sound, the West Coast of Vancouver Island is our prime fishing, but ocean, and you need a good hull. The perfect salmon boat is 20-24', nothing larger or smaller I feel. I have a 18' now.
I have seen on the internet a V20 with a 200 HP in your area. Would you be able to go over and take a look at it? Call me, and I will give you the details.
(253) 720-8200. I would like to talk to you more about your experience with your boat.
Regards,
Rico
