Yes the seats are higher than standard. They were custom seats that I managed to salvage after sinking. The guy I bought the boat from 5 years ago spent some buckson them. They had floated away and pounded in the surf and rocks but never ripped. The rear bench seat, however, did not fair as well. I will be repairing the seat back this weekend and reinstalling.
