BS, I've yet to see any politician say that their plan was to "send every illegal packing." I don't believe it's possible, even if they wanted to do it.
As far as the cost of produce, I've read more conservative estimates of a 15% - 30% increase in the retail cost if illegals weren't available to harvest it. Frankly I'd be willing to pay that much more if Americans were earning the $.
One of the meat packing plants that shut down Monday (so it's employees could join the boycott) used to pay American citizens up to $19/hr 10 years ago. Now they pay their "undocumented" brothers $9. That's just not right.
As I see it, if you and I don't pay it one place, we pay it in another. Maybe lettuce and maters are cheaper, but taxes and insurance are higher because of the burden of caring for illegal aliens.
Now shut my mouth and pass me the greens! :-X
