Default Shes Home!!

Well shes home!!

But she is going to need a few things,

I am hoping to get the bottom done??

Relying on my son for that as I have a rotor cuff I am trying to heal before the fish get here.

But here is something that has givin me a bunch of crap from the beginning!!

Power T & T, you see the piston cap on the left side, well you will notice that I have hammered the holes with a hammer and punch to get it real nice and tight.

First got the motor 4 years ago, cap came loose and lost all fluid.
Retighten and good for the season.

Next year the same and this time I replaced the O rings and again tighten the thing as tight as I dare hammer it!
Again no problem. Over the winter I removed the T&T motor and repainted all.

Use the boat 6 times last year and parked for the year! Went to my brothers Sun to get the boat went to raze the mmotor and nothing , was low on fluid and the cap was once again loose >:(

I know a few people with this vintage Yamaha and they all have had the same Left cap lossen up on them also?? But None like mine?? I called Yamaha and they were know help?

So if it was yours what would you do? I have been thinking of putting some Lock Tight on it, but affraid it might interfare with the O ring??
