Default Re: 1984 V20 CC Questions...

Nah Oz, actually I am a happy man. This 85 V20 I got needs some adjusting, like height of engine on the bracket and normal 20 year old boat things to be updated. But I went out last season with it 7 times and am tickled pink with it. I have had the good fortune of having friends with several premium boats over the years and none of them give me anything more than what this cuddy full transom and bracket combo give me for my needs. If I was a canyon runner I'd get a dual engine 25-27 footer. If I lived in Fla I'd own that and a skinny water skooter. But for inshore stuff I do and the inlets and highly changeable wind conditions I seem to get here this boat is ideal. Keeps me high and dry, warm when cold. cool when the sun is blaring, rides better than my buddies 25 foot Grady, lots of storage so I don't have all my crap in ten places and it there is more room in the boat than a lot of much bigger boats.
Plus the super model entourage is nice and comfy, makes things easier on old Willy 8)
