Well if the deck is in all one good piece then I would tap around with hammer till I found good wood, then square off the spot with pencil.
Take skill saw and cut on the line. Put the deck to one side.
After you have repaired the hole, just have to use resin to glue the deck to the new dry wood.
A little Marine Tex in the space around the patch and paint to match, your all set!!
