OK, if the pump is disconnected and you dont want to try and use the power you can run without it. Remove the power cylinder from the front of the motor. Not the cylinder for the hydraulic steering, but the one with the hoses going to the power steering pump under the hood.
Then hook the cylinder from the hydraulic steering to the steering arm on the motor. Youre good to go.
