Gentlemen,

Thank you very much for your advice. I will do as you've suggested. I may get the tranny cooler just to be on the safe side...

Say, I know I'm getting a bit ahead of myself, but what would you all suggest I do about the sea drive and the engine? The previous two owners have said that the boat was great and had been really good to them with the sea drive. Apparently, the boat has sat for about six months and they say that the engine is now froze up. Neither one of them are mechanically inclined, I'm not much of a mechanic myself, so I'm not sure how serious the problem really is. I'm hoping that a little TLC along with a bit of mystery oil in the cylinders will get her going again.

But, if that doesn't work and it turns out that the engine has a much more serious problem, what would you all suggest? Would it be wise to have the engine rebuilt and to power up to a 200 as Skools seemed to suggest? Just curious and trying to think ahead.

I'm quite the greenhorn, so excuse me for asking this question. I have a pair of 93 200HP Suzukis. Does the Sea Drive only accept OMC outboards or would one of my Suzukis work?
