Willy personally i don't like a full auto. The seperate float switch is how i go incase the switch dies while out on the water i can make the pump still run. My neighbor that works for Parker says when you think the bilge pump is big enough buy one twice as big. I personally ran two 1750 GPH pumps in the rear of my 21 and one 1500 in the front under the floor incase the tube were to get stopped up. in a case of emergency you can never have enough water removal. JMO
