I was just talking buddy of mine that works for a contractor out here. He went to Iraq for about 18 months and got back just before Katrina hit. He was then sent as part of the team that went to New Orleans to shoot thugs. He said things are REALLY bad over there. He told me he was after a band of thugs that were looting and robbing some of the neighbors in a specific neighborhood down there. He never caught them and they finally fled the area but I thought one comment he made was very interesting. He said they had shoot to kill orders and that the rules of engagement for New Orleans were much easier than Iraq. In NO, if they were armed..SHOOT THEM, period. :shock:
