Holy Carp!!! The Johnzuki break in is not nearly as complicated as that.

It's been 4 years so its hard to remember, but it wasn't anything that kept me from doing normal boating. The biggest thing I remember is that you have to vary the rpm during the break in, always adjusting the throttle.

My drag racing buddy used to say "break it in like your going to use it" as he would do a smokey burn out pulling out of the garage when he would put in a new motor.
