Re: interesting *wellcraft
Have a story to tell, but escuse my poor writing skills. My friend Joe ( not real name) had saved his pennies many years ago and went off to buy his dream boat, a Shamrock. But unfortunatly Shamrock had gone out of buisiness. *Our beloved Wellcraft had quickly introduced a Shamrock clone to the market and my friend purchased one. He gets it back to the dock and notices when hosing it out ,all water runs to front of boat, not back and out scuppers. *Also realizes that the tip of the prop is almost breaking water at rest. *These are things not evident in the show room. My friend is back and forth with dealer etc.. long story short while using boat gets in situation and boat flips or rolls or whatever. It was due to poor design because other Wellcrafts also went under. *I wonder it that "interesting Wellcraft" is the same vintage. *I would of thought more that six were made though. Or that they would have been recalled.
