Wish we could fish year round.

Yeah, the Formula is quite a bit heavier. I'd say double what the Wellcraft tips the scales at. Probably around 4000-4500lbs if I had to guess. The truck handles it okay though. I've got the 5.9 liter engine in it. the worst part of the towing is the stopping. The trailer it's on doesn't have any brakes and that's one area where the Dodge trucks are lacking(decent brakes). I hear they've corrected that problem with the newer trucks though. Like me, it needs to diet. I'll be reducing the weight considerably just by removing the twin I/O's and going to a single outboard. Some of the other changes should cut down on weight as well. Excess seating is coming out as well as some stuff the guy built in the cabin. I just started looking around at motors. I'll call the guy in Kingston to see what he might have available in the near future. i also saw on iboats.com a 2001 Yamaha 2 stroke Saltwater series 225hp for 10,000. It's listed as a new demo.? Whatever that means??? Probably has some hours on it but I've got plenty of time to shop around.
I saw that just a couple miles up the road from you in Peabody, they got 36" of snow! :o It just sucks when you think you're all done, then the snow plows come buy and plow you in again. Didn't see any more plows go by anymore last night, then my wife woke me up at 5:00 this morning to go out and clear the end of the driveway again because she couldn't get out. She's got a Grand Cherokee so I said to just drive through it. I guess she tried but the wall of snow was frozen. So, I started up the snowblower and it took care of it very nicely.
