Just under 200 miles is my closest, which is Myrtle Beach SC. NC beaches are prolly just a little more than that, maybe 225 or so. But, it could be worse! I like my location cause I can hit the mountains in around 2 hours or the coast in 3.5! Around here we get to see a little snow in the winter too, which I like every now and then. Ocasionally we get 10 inches of snow - BREAK OUT THE 4 WHEELERS! ;D
It would be nice to be closer to the beach. Me and the little lady almost moved to the coast this summer, but the property got sold out from under us :'(
