Why cut the liner to remove the deck? *To me, the deck would be easier to patch than the sides. *It's really not as bad as you think. *My deck was soft from the cabin to the fishbox(water got in through the seat mounts) *I took a skill saw and cut out the deck that was bad. *I left about 2" where the deck meets the sides. When I went to replace the old wood, I bonded a strip under the edge of the hole around the opening, and then used the old piece as a template, and just dropped the new in. *The hardest part is making the first cut, after that you have to fix it. *
