I looked up Wellcraft in 86. They don't show to have even built that boat in 86. Plus as stated they don't know the difference in Merc's I/O and Mercury O/B. Why would you put an Old *** POS mercury on a 86 boat? I would ask him for the HULL ID numbers and motor compressions.
