The Pledge of Allegiance is one of the reasons it makes me SO mad that the elected officials of this country are allowed to destroy and misrepresent the intentions and values of the American people and their rights and liberties...some are Dems and some are Reps and they are all a threat to all the Pledge of Allegiance has meant to me since I was a kid in elementary school ...I am sure John McCain is sincere in his beliefs, but I think he's been badly affected by his years of rubbing shoulders w/ Washington politics...
