Default Re: Pix to share (non-V-20 but still Wellcraft)

thanx guys,,

Yeah, the cabin is in the center console, I think for me and my boy it's a great set-up. We did an over-nighter two weeks ago on Jordan lake here in NC, was pretty comfortable. For offshore, we use it as a "shelter" for thunder boomers and rain/wind etc... There's wood pieces (3 large) that go across the mid section, when they're in, they make a 2 person sleeper with the cushions and all. When removed, you can tightly sit 4 guys in there and plenty of storage room and all that.

I fish out of Wrightsville (Masonboro inlet), we run all the reefs and to the stream from Masonboro. I always launch at the ramp at the 74 bridge comin into Wrightsville.

I havent seen a V20 cabin, so it would be hard for me to compare. I do like the V21 Wellcraft has out, I think it's got a great layout and would be an awsome lake boat. I like the little things Wellcraft does to innovate, the cabin on a "technically" 23 ft Center with as much room as they got definately sold me.

I'm the worlds worst freshwate fisher, and would be happy to swap tips, I'm all about offshore sport... I hear folks catchin nice stripers in Jordan, but I'm lucky to hook a yellow perch ya know!! ha ha ha ha....

I have a tournement tommorrow matter of fact at Shearon Harris lake, will be on Jordan this saturday with my boy and will try to squeeze in a offshore run next weekend, who know's, maybe I can get up with some fellow Wellcraft owners in my area.

Got my Well from George Copeland over at Cope's Marine in Wilson, great guy and has been nothing but helpfull in making sure everything with this boat is right.
