Spare is ok. He's had some personal issues that are keeping him busy. Check out the "Off topic" section, look for his "Life happens" thread for more info.

As to the skeg, if you're going to have it fixed in the fall, why bother to take the risk straightening it now? Seriously, it won't hurt anything leaving it alone for now.
