Finally found yellowfin tuna 77 miles out. Then went to Hudson canyon for tilefish. Also got some 5 pound skipjacks on the light spinng rods.
Stopped at the Resor on the way in for our 4 seabass allowed. Wreck is covered in nice ones. We had 4 as soon as we hit bottom. All keeper size but we dropped a few more times and culled to get the bigger one's. 5 minutes of nonstop fish and we were done.
Then when cleaning tuna at 930 next morning got the 2 biggest dock bass ever(31..ish
) on tuna chunks. That bass was caught on a little penn spinner meant for crappie and sunnies.
