Default Decision Time

I've kind of come to a crossroads with my 86 with 86 yamaha.....Developed an electrical issue year before last that I haven't had time really to get into other than diagnose no spark on a few cylinders so basically the boat has been sitting covered coming up on 2 years....basically came to the conclusion either we get out of boating and get it out of the driveway, fix what we have or or get something newer.

Basically Like Steplift said in one of his posts I just lost confidence in it. I'm really not into trouble shooting the engine as the tilt tube is stiffer than all get out...I've added extra zirk fittings and such. The shift shaft under there looks thinner and thinner every year. I mean it is almost a 40 year old motor.
I have enough free time to either boat or play around fixing an old boat but not really time for both.

Secondly the boat itself needs floor replacement bad. So basically this is where I'm at.

Option A: Redo my floor and install new power. At this point I just want to have a boat that I know I can hook up whenever I want and go without worrying about anything at least for a few years anyway. Lots of labor but when all is said and done I should be set.

Option B: Save some money and go with a boat with newer power and solid floor...maybe Georgios' friends boat....(although probabyl looking for something newer) Also looking at V21 with a 2019 200 Yamaha with 2 1/2 years of warranty left on it . It does have some hours on it which doesn't necessarily bother me.
